tra(n)smanagua: memorias trans/cuir de una ciudad dispersa
[trans/cuir memories of a dispersed city] vol. 1, 2, self-published, Barcelona 2023-24
tra(n)smanagua is a collaborative fanzine co-produced with architect Apa Arguello which collects trans/cuir/cochone memories of the dispersed and fragmented city that is Managua, capital of Nicaragua. It points to places or lives where normative structures give way to dissident realities, where other forces, such as respect for the role of the merchant, beauty and charm, the ability to find a new use for ruins, prevail over cisheteronormativity and guide practices to build community.
a/denegado: pensamientos en la frontera (special addition)
published with the support of Libby Leshgold Gallery with Moniker Press, Vancouver 2022
pensamientos en la frontera is an ongoing project compiled by andi and collaboratively riso printed and published with Moniker Press. It consists of a continuously growing bundle of publications and prints that feature many perspectives on displacement and borders. It comes as a new generation of Nicaraguan youth are forced into immigration, to create bridges to connect culture-specific ways forced movement is carried in language, image, and sense of home across cultures.
This addition is a call to action as more people exercising their right of movement and refuge are met by the violence of border regimes; six months 111,000 migrants, raided newspapers, swimming lessons for Rio Grande.

A meditation on death, resilience and reciprocity through a study of theYucca shrubs that populate the expanse between what is known as Alberta and what is known as Nicaragua, my birthplace and homelands respectively, and my late grandmother's Carmen love of bitter-sweet treats.
This issue explores recipes as a form of material and immaterial inheritance, connecting to family history, memory, and sharing knowledge. Contributors were encouraged to create or unearth recipes, belonging to them or to others; to think about recipes as practical knowledge vessels, a storytelling tool, and a way to access memory or place
pensamientos en la frontera
multiple authors, published with Moniker Press, Vancouver 2019
pensamientos en la frontera is a project that comes as a new generation of Nicaraguan youth are forced into immigration. As they begin to explore and respond to their forced uprooting they look back to the experiences of past generations. The project follows histories of displacement—creating a bridge to connect culture-specific ways forced movement is carried in language, image, and sense of home across cultures. The hope is to foster kinship and inclusive celebration of differences amongst each other, beyond la frontera.

moist beings
collaboration with Nico Yu, published with Publication Studios Vancouver, 2016
a shared meditation departing from the ecological concept of interrelatedness as well as the pervasiveness of moisture in order to confront rigid views on the limits of bodies (water bodies, human and non-human alike), activated through printed matter, text, illustration, photography, performance and soft sculpture.
